Most tourists enter Kenya via Nairobi, which has direct flights to Mombasa. However, a number of charter flights operate services to Mombasa. Kenya Airlines has plans to introduce connecting flights to Mombasa from London via Nairobi.
By Water: Short-distance ships connect Mombasa with Mauritius, the Seychelles, and Zanzibar. Traditional dhows also sail between Mombasa along the Kenyan coastline, connecting it with all coastal towns in Kenya.
By Land: Mombasa has good road links with various cities in Tanzania and Uganda. Many international bus services operate between Mombasa and these cities.
