Fort Jesus: Built by the Portuguese in the 16th century this impressive fort was the site of a battle between the Shirazi Arabs and the Portuguese colonialists. Their struggle continues for several centuries and Fort Jesus bears the marks of these pitched battles of historic times. The museum at Fort Jesus has relics of the slave trade including torture rooms and prison cells.
Old Town: An area of narrow streets and busy shops, the old is a predominantly Muslim area and is characterized by Arab architecture and curios shops, where you can browse on your Kenya Wild Safari.
Mombasa Tusks: These large intersecting tusks mark the entrance to Mombasa town and also form the shape of the letter M for Mombasa. The ceremonial arch was built to celebrate the visit of Queen Elizabeth in 1952, when she visited the town on her Kenya Safari.
Mamba Village: Located in Nyali, this is the largest Crocodile farm in East Africa. Tourists can See a film on crocodiles, take a tour of the form and see the crocodile fight over the meals during feeding time.
