Originally, New Stanley Hotel Kenya was established in 1902 by Mayence Bent on Victoria Street. But then it was refurbished completely thrice since 1902. New Stanley Hotel Kenya was repositioned on Government road in 1905. In 1909, New Stanley Hotel was placed on Sixth Avenue and by 1913, the hotel was again repositioned on Kenyatta Avenue, where presently it is located.
