Spread over 1806 sq km, the Losai National Reserve is typified by open plains, riverine woodlands and rocky hills set amidst a wild and semi-desert background.
Location
Situated in the Isiolo town of north Kenya, it can be accessed via all the weather roads from Isiolo.

It is generally hot and dry.
Wild Life Attractions
The reserve has a variety of wildlife that includes elephants, Greater and Lesser Kudus, Gerenuks and Grants Gazelles. Among the insects and reptiles, there are pythons, cobras, lizards, grasshoppers, beetles and scorpions.
